Racing Green

In order to reduce our environmental impact, the Kinemedics/PSI Physiotherapy-2010 Ottawa Physio Race is going green as best we can!

For the 2009 race, we moved to online registration only to cut down on paper waste. We provided an opportunity for people to donate their old running shoes to Sole Responsibility (www.soleresponsibility.org), and we did away with handing out water bottles at the race, using more water jugs and recyclable paper cups instead.

In 2010, we will carry forward these strategies to help decrease our environmental footprint, as well as implement a few new ones. Be sure to contact us if you have any suggestions that will help us be more environmentally friendly next year.
